On November 1, 2023, the USE-LESS Center for Sustainable Design Strategies, along with the Institute for Bioplastics and Biocomposites (IfBB) at Hochschule Hannover, participated in the opening event of "November of Science."
The focus was on the Bio2Design collaborative research project, which explores sustainable materials. During the event, attendees had the chance to gain fascinating insights into research and discover innovative applications of bio-based materials. Designers from Hochschule Hannover also presented their creations, demonstrating how sustainable design can be practically implemented. Through these examples, they showed how future-oriented fashion can be both aesthetically appealing and environmentally friendly.
The opening event took place at Herrenhausen Palace, providing an opportunity to discuss current material trends and their challenges in merging fashion with climate protection.
